Museum of Pierre-de-Luxembourg, Villeneuve lez Avignon

In an old mansion classified as a Historic Monument, the museum presents two masterpieces of the medieval West: the PRECIOUS IVORY SCULPTURE OF THE VIRGIN A CHILD (circa 1310) and the CELEBRE TABLE OF THE CORONATION OF THE VIRGIN, d'Enguerrand Quarton (1453-54) and a panorama of French painting from the 16th to the 18th century.

November, December, February and March: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. April to October: 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 6 p.m

CLOSING TIME: Closed on Mondays. Exceptional closures on 24/12, 31/12, 1 May, 1 November, 11 November and 25 December. Closed in January.
