Summer guided tours to do in Pernes-les-Fontaines!
Easily spotted, the Ferrande Tower is one of the monuments that dominates the historic center with its neighbor the Clock Tower. Built in the 12th century, this fairly austere structure contains some very surprising remains.
As you climb the steps, it reveals on the top floor, a true artistic gem, a perfectly preserved 360° fresco dating from the 13th century, telling the story of the conquest of Sicily by Charles of Anjou, Count of Provence, a unique place that will make your head spin!
